Re: Sketcher: Single Button for adding constraints and dimensions

Without being completely using right click/context menu, a more fluid measurement system could be very good.
I'm referencing this thread that was talking about the situation with fusion:

To be noted, this macro does not works with parts and bodies placements, I'm working on an update because I needed the cross-section mechanism for another project.

Re: Plasma workflow

Is Path workbench suitable for Plasma cutting already? If yes. Are there any examples of the workflow? This plasma cutter project is pretty amazing :0 keep the pictures coming! Regarding the workflow, I've looked on the forum for a similar answer and did not find a good way to do it (please So corr...

Re: plan de coupe et mise en plan

jeanartemis, Welcome to the forum, it is definitely possible with freecad, but you need to "get your hands dirty" and dive in scripting territory. I've only been using FC for a few weeks, but I was itching to try to give back to the community a bit. So I started to work on the cross sectio...

Re: Polar pattern?

I have a part which I want to replicate as a polar pattern, but as it is not a feature on a part I cant use the polar pattern feature or can I? Good day Chris, That's a good question, I've had various degree of success trying to create a solid from a radial pattern of shapes that should result in a...

Thanks for the tip, I do find them as I'm going though my first project ;)
FC is still an amazing piece of free software, well worth the effort to figure out some work-around when things become a bit strange :)

Re: Groups breaking dependency graph

I'm using containers more for functional aspect (bodies that will move together) so groups sounded like a good option to organize the library of bodies (I'm using a lot of clones of the same bodies, so having the master shapes separated is nice). Groups breaking dependency graph

Good day, while I was trying to organize bodies I decided to use a group, and it seems that it breaks the dependency graph, all the axes and other objects in a body will be displayed outside: groupBreak.png I've reproduced it in 0.17 & 0.18, I could not find any mention in the forum. Should I fi...

Re: Angle constraint issue in sketcher

The problem is, if I try to change the skew angle by more than 5 - 15 degrees, it gives me an "Invalid constraint index" error. The constraint I'm adjusting (index 24) needs to be adjustable between -65 and 65 degrees. If I make the adjustments in small increments <= 15 degrees, I am gene...
