That's rich coming from you, everytime I try to remove a completely useless tool you jump in to explain the incredible value of said tool. What removing? You want to literally merge something. I use the transform tool a lot an this is a thing, that annoy me too. It is really hard to see. There are already many tickets about extend the functionality of PartDesign patterns, as lattice2 does. Realizing this makes more sense as merging something random, which also does then interact cumbersome again, which is then non consistent again, in gui and code.
