Re: Transform tool has lost its 3D appearance

Besides that I never had any issues with the tool itself: it moves exactly in increment steps for translations as well as for the angles. If it doesn't, it should be reported. I have reported a few times. See here, how it much the values moves. Step is here 1mm, the former coordinate system are exa...

Re: Merging Fasteners and Gears in Part wb?

Saying that my understanding of CAD gui is wrong. Yes, i say that. But you also do not counter it with facts, how your work on CAD are based. Just said, i do not discredit you as programmer. Well let's take an example : Sketcher_dimension, you have been vehemently against it. Saying the same: that ...

Re: Merging Fasteners and Gears in Part wb?

That's rich coming from you, everytime I try to remove a completely useless tool you jump in to explain the incredible value of said tool. What removing? You want to literally merge something. Wrong topic? And if, as said, you seems not work with CAD or FreeCAD at all, else you would not come often...

Re: Transform tool has lost its 3D appearance

I never get it, why this was on purpose, when 5min testing it, your must recognize it, that it not good to see. I like the new design. The previous ones looked outdated New design or not, never set style ...

Re: Merge lattice WB as a tool in PD

There are already many tickets about extend the functionality of PartDesign patterns, as lattice2 does. Realizing this makes more sense as merging something random, which also does then interact cumbersome again, which is then non consistent again, in gui and code.

Re: Merging Fasteners and Gears in Part wb?

-1 FreeCAD needs a general library tool, not more dependencies, especially predefined parts. Not everyone needs, or better said, want more bloating. Also when you add pre-define parts, they lack extreme LoD, which is very subjective and also depends the usecase, same as gears (geometry depends on mu...
