Re: Quality of exported file (*.stl)
I used Part_CheckGeometry Under it there is an option for BOP check. This must be selected. Using that on Revolution shows "Shell not connected" - shell is not closed so the solid is broken. Read this page: Thread_for_Screw_Tutorial Basically the Helix is very good but not perfect approxim...

Re: Quality of exported file (*.stl)
You can use https://www.prusa3d.com/prusaslicer/ (or directly from Github https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/releases ), https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura or any other free slicer you find. Try to slice the stl yourself and see if there are issues. That last STL is broken. (not close...

Re: Help with how to create a groove following a curved profile
Here is a proposal which uses the outer edge of the model as a guide. Probably better to use the first time the edges were generated. So use the edges from Fillet instead of Fillet001. But as with fillets in general this should be design consideration (fillets as soon as edges appear or fillets at ...

Re: Problem while trying to fuse two parts together
You had degenerate line in Sketch (looked like a single point). Also why make two separate PartDesign bodyes to just fuse them together? Why not stay in PartDesign, add the second sketch there, pad, add third sketch for the holes, pocket, ...? And you somehow deleted the tool for the final cut (that...

Re: Forum lists non existant unread tickets
That was a tripple post at the time. User reported that he tried to delete the extra posts but seemed that he did not succeed.
Here is the last post with that explanation https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 39#p468162

Re: How can I do this? Help with manipulating a part
Separate the hand (the revolution) in two parts. Create draft clone from the shorter part. Use the clones scale property to flatten it as desired. Edit: Also you should model just half of the revolution (from one side of desired axis) and revolve that. I am surprised that this did not fail. It does ...
