Re: Objects on surface

At the moment, placements do not stick (are not parametric, i.e do not follow the surface if the surface changes), but maybe i will add an option for that too.... eventually

Re: Objects on surface
Do you know if it is possible to put a plane on the surface and perpendicular to the surface? Why do you have to manually move the paper plane and rotate it so that it is under surface and perpendicular to it? Attached Placement, you'll need a vertex do define where. Also, if you have a lot of vert...

Re: Comb-Pattern in PartDesign
something like this: hexagrid patch example.FCStd Tricks used: * linear array can be made to extend both ways with Alignment property set to Mirrored * linear array's step can be bound to edge length by changing DrivenProperty property to Step * to make compoundfilter include only fully-inside shape...

Re: Comb-Pattern in PartDesign
sorry guys, i have not looked into your files, but the general approach to that should be different. Make a skewed 2d grid array to eventually create a big patch of comb pattern, and then filter it (either arrayfilter or compoundfilter) to leave only the stuff you need. This probably has to be done ...
