Re: Folder Structure for Macros?
If there would be a parameter controlling in/exclusion of subdirectories would be of further help. Yes: once we have stopped hardcoding the path to user macros, I definitely imagine there being several ways to set which directories to look in. What @chrisb writes would be a real simplification for ...

Re: [Solved] Macro "Jump to FC Wiki"
Hello Lewis, one more small hint. Just as the toolbars are hidden and shown, so can the output window. When my macro is run, I appear in the output window two information sections. One for the Web WB and one what to do if the URL is incorrect. Sometimes the information is not on the Wiki but on GitH...

Re: [SOLVED]Why are so many of the menu commands not directly and clearly documented?
Time and again, I cut and paste a menu command into the search bar on the documentation site only to have it return a list utterly devoid of the command. In some cases, by sheer luck, I discover that what is in the menu is not the actual command. Instead the command is listed under a different name...

Re: [Solved] Macro "Jump to FC Wiki"
It works ! … EDIT … By exiting and restarting FreeCad it did appear. Just for my knowledge - is there a way to reload the global toolbar without exiting and restarting FreeCad? … EDIT2 … Thank you for your extensive feedback. Your relentless exploration of FreeCAD and your combination skills finall...

Re: [Solved] Macro "Jump to FC Wiki"
Just came across this thread - this looks like a great addition, and the minimal number of clicks is fantastic. I have been struggling with FreeCad for almost a year off and on, and while I am making progress, I often circle back and start digging through the wiki as it's constantly being updated a...

Re: [Solved] Macro "Jump to FC Wiki"
Exactly! Is there a PoC somewhere ? Specifically when hovering over the radiobutton, the rectangular area around the radiobutton also becomes highlighted? See changes required here . The mouse over highlight requires to change stylesheet, but it may conflict with the user selected stylesheet. I am ...

Re: Wiki page on videos
Care to make a screencast of this macro in action? Jump to FC Wiki.gif The most interesting function is to call the wiki page of the last activated workbench. The web pages are recognized in 5 languages. All other languages go to the English pages. Sometimes there is only one page on GitHub. Then y...

Quick access to selected Wiki pages
If there are more than 3 clicks, it is time to write a macro. Therefore I wrote one, with this "little helper" I quickly get to my desired Wiki pages. It could also be helpful for some beginners. Especially the option "last activated Workbench" I find enormously facilitating. The...
