Re: alternatives to netgen? gmsh?

Thanks kuroshio. kuroshio: Instead of populating a long command line maybe you can provide two text areas where the user could insert arbitrary pre and post merge gmsh commands. Re: Matweb inside FreeCAD

Matweb inside FreeCAD

Hello everyone. I wonder why when one adds a material in a FEM analysis the option to view data in MatWeb does not open directly to the Web browser FreeCAD.

Code: Select all

import WebGui
WebGui.openBrowser('http://matweb.com/')
Thank You. regards

Sorry for my bad English

Re: alternatives to netgen? gmsh?

bernd: Have you been able to create a 2D or 1D mesh ? Yes the macro first had the option to create 1d, 2D and 3D meshes, but FreeCAD could not visualize them, but when was exporting and opened with GMSH these were displayed correctly. But can be opened 2D meshes in FreeCAD in stl format with Mesh m...

I've noticed that FreeCAD not display 2D and 1D meshes or am I wrong? The original idea is to make a plugin for calculations ...
