This is a good example of using FreeCAD to design and build a complete house. Geomatic WB has been discontinued instead it's been merged back in to Trails workbench. Yes, QGIS is also an option.

Since it's pretty obvious that we don't come from the AutoCAD world, there are many cad suites out there, I for one would like to see this non-pixel hunting process you speak about. care enough to make a screencast showing what you are seeking, for our edification?

I cannot attach my .inp file as a txt file because software says it is too large. Calculix reported no errors. Thanks to anyone who can help. Rocky Nothing was attached.
