Hello,
I have a Zylinder created as loft going through a flat plane. I created it using the partdesign feature and used a few datum planes. The problem is, that I don't know how to cut away the upper part and having a hole through the plane.
Is this the right approach making what I want?

Re: Extrude a sketch with not connected components
Here tangency and point on line does not result in actual coincidence. And the small difference in positions of endpoints makes the OCCT kernel to not consider the resulting wire closed. Here it should have been point on point tangency - delete those two constraints, block-select left to right just...

Re: Extrude a sketch with not connected components
Hopefully last issue :) Previously it was fine, then I changed a parameter in the spreadsheet and then I get the exception: Exception Wire is not closed. I tried to undo, but it did not change anything, the exception was still there Img.png Just for background: I removed all this puzzle cut and fusi...

Re: Extrude a sketch with not connected components
When I edit the Board001 sketch, it does not create me anymore a block (When I press recompute). When I delete the extrude, and create it again, it works again. These messages I see in the Report view: 21:12:46 Part::Extrusion / Extrude: Links go out of the allowed scope 21:13:10 Delete: Selection n...

Re: Extrude a sketch with not connected components
Whe I extrude a sketch, the Extrution is always outside of my part and has a name as Extrude008. Is there a way to put it directly into the part and name it like Board_Extrude or similar? Img1.png I created a shapebinder and tried to attach to the face, but there I see an error message. Why? Img2.png

Re: Extrude a sketch with not connected components
I was able to get it work. But I set the position of the Holes sketch manually, because I was not able to set the Map Mode to a face shape binder from Extrude 8 (I set the z position manually). How can I do that? Screenshot from 2021-01-11 19-08-33.png When I export it as dxf, this ugly line is visi...

Re: Drawing Multipart object
You dont need to always stay in PartDesign. I would do this: create a sketch in Sketcher WB, XY plane. Draw all pads. Extrude in Part. Create new body, create black case under it. Hide extrude, show extrude sketch. Import sketch under body as SubShapebinder. Use subshapebinder to pocket the body. N...
