Re: Geomatics Workbench

I added new triangulation algorithm based on Delaunator. Its very fast. I ported it from js to python.

shortly afterwards bidandou decided he could continue the project and became the second main developer and maintainer (post).
I don't think bidandou works on wb anymore.

Re: Geomatics Workbench

Hi every body ! I'm from the French forum. I try to model a ground. I measured 118 points on the site, import the point cloud with Geomatics BUT i can't create the surface. Is the point cloud is too complex ? This is the .asc file : https://transfernow.net/27gyh6n16vi6 Order : Easting 1; Northing 2...

Re: Geomatics Workbench

The only way to manage the issue is to "normalize" coordinates to within single-precision limits (I forget exactly what those are atm). That means determining an "offset" position for those coordinates and setting a placement at that position, then locating the larger coordinates relative to that p...

Re: Geomatics Workbench

Thanks and testing. BTW, what is the difference with your Import Point Files vs Points Workbench Import a Point Cloud? My importer more flexible. You can see a preview of your file and you can specify data columns. Also you can import coordinates from every text file format by using my importer (po...

Re: Geomatics Workbench

@HakanSeven - BTW, I know you aren't directly involved with the project anymore, but I'd suggest you set up a KanBan board (a project board) on github and start adding issues to it so this stuff can get tracked. You've built a really good thing. It's just going to take a little time and effort to w...

Trying to use GeoData and Geomatics again, but unfortunately not working
If you ticked "Process elevation data" it's not working. Also you need to install required python packages.
