I added a extra deck at the bow side of the ship.
And again I used the split tool to as a helper for fitting the parts
And here are some printed and painted results

On to deck modeling. I wanted something different from what the step file offered so I modeled my self this new deck. Deck.jpg I needed to split the deck in 2 parts in order to make it fit on the printer plate. I also modeled a access plate for the back side of the deck using a linear pattern deck1....

The first thing I modeled was a support for the ship itself. In the tree view the stand is contained in the "Stand001" part and made of 3 separate bodies for the base and the 2 legs that support the ship. Stand1.jpg I modeled the geometry then I created some shapebinders of the hull geomet...
