Re: [Issue] Freecad Py2.5/Qt4 to Py3.6/Qt5 version update: performance issue

Hi @RatonLaveur Likely this is a Qt 5 related behavior, possibly not a general issue but (graphic) hardware specific. Do the portable binaries still use Qt 4 on Windows? If yes, that is one potential solution you can try out and use for now. Once Conda will gain support for newer Qt 5 version. That ...

Actually I tried to explain my point of view and I tried hard.
If i understand the debate correctly you have a problem with K-factor currently being set automatically? As people could forget to change the value accordingly to what their project needs?

Re: missing feature to move tabs with opened files

Many thanks triplus. That was the simple solution I had in mind. You're welcome. But vocx's note is important as well. I think the file name in the tabs should make clear to which file e.g. a spreadsheet tab belongs to. The basic idea behind this thread and issue #3648 makes sense to me. People are...

Hi @fillet

What happens is you try to run the AppImage in Xorg session?

P.S. You should be able to select Xorg/Wayland session from the login screen.

After 14 years GParted has reached 1.0.0.

After 15 years:
Inkscape 1.0

(definitely not released yet - AnnouncePlanning1.0)
P.S. Soon FreeCAD won't have much competition anymore in this regard! ;)

Re: appimage

Not sure as i haven't yet read the other threads about current state of FreeCAD 0.19 AppImage. At some point yes, it makes sense for this to happen. When i guess there will be general consensus we have successfully migrated from PPA to Conda being the preferred and default source for creating AppIma...

Re: [RFC] FreeCAD commit history formatting ideas

I agree with @microelly2 that FreeCAD is an engine. I lean more towards FreeCAD being a CAD framework. Lets hear from the core devs too, when they get a moment to read this thread. I agree. If they care i guess we can care after too. ahh this one is the best  https://github.com/FreeCAD/Fre...
