Re: [Solved] FC 0.19pre crashes + Blackscreen

There is an environment variable available on Windows:

P.S. As this issue gets rather frequently reported, Qt 5 related issues with graphic cards/drivers, maybe it should get set by default.

Re: Install multiple versions of freecad ubuntu

FreeCAD 0.16 and FreeCAD 0.18 packages should be available from the PPAs on Ubuntu 16.04. Daily PPA doesn't get updated anymore (Ubuntu 16.04), but you can use the AppImage instead:

On Ubuntu 16.04 there is stable PPA providing freecad-python2 package. There is daily PPA, but it doesn't get updated anymore (Ubuntu 16.04).

P.S. There is an AppImage option available:

Re: Travis build failure

I see that the PR got merged. I took a quick look at build job logs and in general the expected happened. On very first build GCC builds will time out, produced ccache gets uploaded. Hence on successive builds it's expected for GCC builds to complete successfully, and that does happen. P.S. Now occa...

Re: Back port commits to 0.18 branch

After review and hopefully merge happens:

https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/2520

And once the proposed change will get included in FreeCAD 0.19 AppImage. I will test if everything works as expected. If yes, this PR should be back ported and to be included in FreeCAD 0.18.4 (AppImage).

I can't test on linux now, but usr/cmake, usr/conda-meta, and any .h files should be safe to delete.

Code: Select all

du -sh squashfs-root/
1.5G	squashfs-root/

Code: Select all

du -sh usr/cmake/ usr/conda-meta/
8.0K	usr/cmake/
22M	usr/conda-meta/

Code: Select all

find . -name "*.h" | xargs du -sch
2.8M	total
It's a start!
