Looks like it's a problem with the External Workbench made by @microelly2 called animation. He never ported it to Qt5/Py3
You'll need to remove it via the Addon manager

Now comes the question, do we need binary installers, or do we prefer zip bundles for quick and dirty download-and-runs?
