Re: [ Feature ] Link to BuildingPart Not Working ?

totally agree with Yorik. in adition. We use floor group for all objects of a building but in addition we need more group features. An example from structural engineering. A complicated slab could be made from ten or more single shapes. BuildingPart would group them to one slab. A column could be ma...

Re: [Discussion] Preparing for the upcoming v0.19 release

I vote for merging toponame after 0.19. FEM has not seen big updates for a while. It will be fine with release early 2020. Means IMHO we should go for 0.19 in early 2020.

But we should NOT go for 0.20 we should go for 0.91 after 0.19 :geek: But that is another story and another topic.

Re: How to make obj with ViewProvider from outside FreeCAD

I think what he means is to execute the snippet in his first post in a external python interpreter and save a document including the view provider. But the viewprovider is not created because there is no FrreCADGui available. exactly. This is just an example. I would like to create a whole building...

Re: Problems with IFC

if only the project is selected nothing is exported. This is a known issue. The project is new in 0.19. I have not had a look at its code. Since no other fixed it it is still around. But selecting the site should do the trick. About the other problems: It should be looked into them. Would you post a...
