Re: AWS Windows Server 2016/Azure Windows 10 Pro

I think the problem might be the lack of a GPU on these instances. Maybe this thread offers some clues? https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=36087 You can try launching FreeCAD with the -l switch to get a log in %appdata%/FreeCAD Or maybe FreeCADcmd -l, that doesn't require a gui at all...

Can you give me a copy of the process of compiling with conda?
First install a working 0.18.4 like here: https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/freecad
Once you have FreeCAD 0.18.4 working in a Conda env, we can move forward. Please post your "About FreeCAD" info when successful.

Any advice would be appreciated.
It looks like most of the Arch icons are here: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/tree ... rces/icons
Arch_AxixTools is an exception.

Are you searching master for the icons?

Re: how to build libpack for freecad0.18.4 by conda?

hello, sgrogan! I use vs2017 and FreeCADLibs_12.1.2_x64_VC15 to compile freecad0.19_pre, but encountering some errors. OK, let's concentrate on getting 0.19 to compile first with the 12.1.2 Libpack. First how are you getting the source code? git, GitHub download of the tarball, other? Next how are ...

Re: how to build libpack for freecad0.18.4 by conda?

ant to develop freecad for the second time and need to modify freecad with c ++ code. Therefore, I need to make libpack for freecad0.18.4, and then recompile it into an executable program in the windows system. Why not 0.19 then? Only backported fixes will be backported to 0.18.x, new development h...

Re: LibPack incomplete? or what am I missing?

Downloaded the latest build of v0.19, 'FreeCAD_0.19.19127_x64_LP_12.1.2_PY3QT5-WinVS2015' but the vcarve option is not available or activated. The 'teaser' at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC21T943auk from Sliptonic does not contain enough info on how to continue. I will do some more 'look around...

Re: PythonOCC 7.4.0 beta released

Further, this means FEM is in serious trouble as it is fully dependent on smesh (as far as I understand). So updating to occt7.4 is currently not really an option. I don't think this is a problem for FreeCAD because it doesn't use pythonocc. It may very well be a problem for any third party workben...

Looks like FreeCAD_0.19.19133_x64_LP_12.1.2_PY3QT5-WinVS2015 build is broken again, same symptoms as above.
Should be fixed again, 0.19.19151
