Re: Cannot save any .fcstd. Windows 64bit

EDIT: Already answered while my excellent internet connection was taking a snooze

I think this is a UTF-8 issue. FreeCAD doesn't like the ' in Sarah's.

I made a folder on my desk top called Chris's and I get the same error

Try saving in a temp folder in C:\

Re: Use CLbundler created LibPack

That is strange, I specifically modified the Shiboken and PySide cmake files to account for this. Can you confirm that the file FClibs_vc11_x64/lib/cmake/Shiboken-1.2.2/ShibokenConfig-python2.7.cmake has the following line? Code: Select all if(MSVC) SET(SHIBOKEN_LIBRARY "optimized;${SELF_DIR}/../.....

Be careful that is an even earlier version. Other libs are older in the 32 bit version as well Pyhon 2.6.x vs 2.7.x for example).
If you can live with the radius fix you'll be better off with the 64 bit version.

Re: Checkout branches on git

The easiest way would be to clone the repo Code: Select all git clone -o peterl94 git://github.com/peterl94/FreeCAD_sf_master.git I think it worked. Checkout branches on git

I am trying to check out Peterl94's branch with the new CLBundler see http://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8199 But I am not "git"ing it. I tried git remote add peterl94 https://github.com/peterl94/FreeCAD_sf_master.git and git remote add peterl94 git://github.com/peterl94/FreeCAD_sf_mas...

Re: Error while configuring cmake

Just got a successful compile on Windows. I had installed PySide (which was quite a bit of trouble to do, I can share what I did to achieve that if anyone is interested). Looking forward to seeing frustration free new libpack!!! I am cloning Perterl94's branch now to try out the new libpack 9.x I g...
