Re: Trivial: Test workbench activates way to many drop-down file menu options
Do you know if there's any meaningful reason why this isn't the default? It was a long time ago but I remember there was a reason why this wasn't the default but I don't know the exact one. This is the original thread where the work around was found: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?t=343...

Re: Trivial: Test workbench activates way to many drop-down file menu options
If I may add to the issue, there is also a long standing bug about FreeCAD and KDE's global menu where on workbench change the menu will not be updated and menu voices will be added to the bar at every workbench change. To work around that I need to add a boolean value set to true and named "Cl...

Re: 0.20 splash screen contest
So these are my proposals. Mine are mostly mechanical designs so this is what I have to work with. Any criticism is more than welcomed. I have all the files saved so if one of my proposal is choosed I can make outlines, crops etc pixel perfect. I would not lose the outline because it gives contrast ...

Re: [Feature Request] Ability to preferentially select overlapping geometry in Sketcher
This feature already exists in LinkBranch and it is quite useful, It works with all geometry , not only inside sketcher, the limitation atm being that it can select overlapping geometry not specifically constraints. I guess that function can be added in the future but the basis for it already exists...

Re: Part Design Slice
Good evening everybody. I follow this https://youtu.be/C2w0BV_j5Mo?t=1392 which was made with a version of RealThunder release. The complete tutorial was made with the Part Design Workbench. Now I just want to follow the tutorial with a normal FreeCAD version 0.20. OS: macOS 10.16 Word size of Free...

Re: 0.20 splash screen contest
I like the idea of playing with transparency so I gave it a try. Feedback is welcomed, if the concept catches I can work on the details of the image, I'm not really happy with the outline and cropping but it might give a general idea. SplashScreen6.png And a mokup of how it might really look. In my ...

I hope I understand correctly but I think that what you need is already implemented in LinkStage3 and called "Feature Wrap". You can read more about it at the bottom of this post https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?t=52221#p448653 Also a short clip(activate audio) https://twitter.co...
