I'm afraid you're right, horizontal sections are broken and vertical sections fail with message "Cannot compute Inventor representation for the shape of Cut_cs002". Then my shape is not valid.

Ciao, come avrai visto, per ora nel topic inglese ha risposto Jim, che è un esperto molto affidabile, ed ha confermato che FreeCAD è poco esigente in fatto di hardware. In linea di massima FreeCAD non è particolarmente avido di risorse, e gli sviluppatori hanno sempre curato, per quanto possibile, la sua usabilità sulle postazioni non più all'avanguardia.
