Re: Civil engineering feature implementation (Transportation Engineering)
I added a property to your horizontal alignment and I'm using it to keep alignment model geometry and restore model from geometry when document reopened. Sounds good. I prefer to have it regenerate directly from the data as a way to validate the data as correct, but until I figure out what's going ...

Re: Trails Workbench (Transportation and Earthwork Workbench)
There was some bugs. When you saved an alignment and reopened file. It crushes object model. So you can't use related functions and need to reimport same alignment again, again and again. So I added a model keeper property to avoid this. What do you mean it "crushes" the object model? Inc...

Re: Trails Workbench (Transportation and Earthwork Workbench)
It would be great exposure to the GIS world. I'm not good at this type of work. Maybe Joel want to do something Sorry I've been silent - the last few weeks have been pretty busy for me with my more mundane obligations. :) And I haven't actually had a computer in over a week. As for presenting, I'm ...

Re: FreeCAD on the web
Interesting that it's beating us on search relevancy... it hasn't been announced yet but the reason that page is showing up now is because the fine folks at KiCad Services were able to secure the domain for us--but the migration from freecadweb.org to freecad.org is going to be a big chunk of work....

Re: Trails Workbench (Transportation and Earthwork Workbench)
Hmmm.. At first, I saw this and decided it didn't really matter to me, but now I'm getting all sorts of thoughts. :? So my main thought is to keep your hierarchies shallow. It's just a general rule for programming and UI / UX. Deep, narrow hierarchies take longer to process and hide data, which isn'...

Re: Trails Workbench (Transportation and Earthwork Workbench)
Great!
I've been swamped with a bunch of work from my actual job, so I haven't had much time to get at the label issue, but it's still next on my list.

Re: Trails Workbench (Transportation and Earthwork Workbench)
It should be noted, if you use the AppImage, the latest version of pivy is included - I use it for Trails development under Ubuntu... You can use that alongside your FreeCAD Daily installation until pivy gets updated in the other channels.

Re: Trails Workbench (Transportation and Earthwork Workbench)
Does it mean Trails is not usable on Linux ATM? How about some workaround? AFAIK these features are not needed on OSM import. Thus the osm import should be usable even if the coin version is an older one. It should be usable if you're running the AppImage? Unless Hakan is using even newer pivy func...

Re: Trails Workbench (Transportation and Earthwork Workbench)
This should be fixed in the dev branch.
