Re: Padding or Revolving more than one sketch

I guess you missed the green color of Fully Defined Sketch and still it is 'Very Badly Constrained Sketch' or 'Worse'? I saw the green color. But never a fully constrained sketch means a correctly constrained sketch. Does a fully equipped car mean a good car ? ;) I believe that you have your own st...

Re: Padding or Revolving more than one sketch

There is a little misunderstanding of my point, I was referring to the option that allows users to do what in-general rule of thumb, I was not referred to as FLAW rather it can be considered as something valuable feature and that is what defines an open-source software, freedom. Because not every u...

Re: Suspicious behaviour of *SpinBox::keyPressEvent()

This is done to prevent user to enter a value while an expression is set. I think it could generally be removed as the spinbox is disabled when an expression is bound, however it would need to check there is no bad effect. I never tested but according to the code, it should also consume a Tab press,...

Re: Padding or Revolving more than one sketch

So @openBrain, you suggest that it can be done by making the closed sketches (like Sketch, Sketch001-002-003) within the same body by Padding or Revolving each 'closed/fully defined' sketch, one-by-one, right? If that so, I already have done the same with PartDesign WB. As you didn't posted the fil...

Re: Revolve Error

Your sketch is badly constrained. Some basic maths. Y position of horizontal line is : sqrt(251^2-153^2)-142-56.98 = -0.00261435027 mm So your horizontal line is slightly below the X axis. So the 2 vertical lines intersect the revolution axis. => FreeCAD is right. Typically your dimension of "56.98"...

Re: Padding or Revolving more than one sketch

It's totally doable. The only thing to pay attention to is that specifically in PartDesign, the Body shall always be only one continuous solid at each step.

Re: Upcoming Bountysource bug bounty nomination period July 1st-7th

I wasn't quite ready with the automation. Who would have thought our most active members will try to mess up the automation system at the first vote? Kunda1 voted for 2 tickets in the same post , and chrisb voted twice the same ticket in 2 different posts. :lol: Maybe you should clarify the rules f...

It's wider than just a single ticket. ;)
