Re: Adaptove clearing of stock edges

Thanks a lot for all your replies, chrisb, your solution is something I stumbled about but as it was not an adaptive pathway around I was not this convinced and asked myself if there isn't another solution. Attached is another version of the setup with adaptive path to answer mlamperts question what...

Re: Adaptove clearing of stock edges

You could use the Boundary dressup to exclude the area of the clamps - make sure you set your Heights correctly to clear the clamps. Hey, yes that was my first thought when I found this by searching the forum for adaptive clearing. But adaptive clearing does not work together with Boundary dressup....

Re: Adaptove clearing of stock edges

Hi RatonLaveur, Painters tape and superglue. NYC CNC the Youtube channel has great tips on work-holding with glue. Alternatively when using wood, you can take a page off Martin's book down at Wintergatan's series on building the Marble Machine X: screw your workpieces down! Does that help? I had the...

For this I've made a holder to have the same position even if I turn the stock around. Here is the setup why I can't use the profilin...

Re: Using Parts in Path from an Assembly 4

I tried to create a simple copy of the whole Part. It sort of worked, i.e. it looks ok, but Check geometry shows lots of errors and Path doesn't recognize any of the solids either. Thank your for already trying this, I didn't find the time yesterday, is it possible that the errors arise from the de...

Using Parts in Path from an Assembly 4

Hi there, I've started to work with assemblies and used the assembly 4 workbench. I also want to mill the Parts I created in the Part Design WB. But when I switch to the single Parts and click the Create Job button I get a Dialog to select the Parts to create the Job for and I can't select the Body....
