Re: multiple boolean ops of same body
Greetings to the Community! Is this what you want to achieve? domad Groove! Now I see it. The sketch of the valvePump is copied and used in the two halves but instead of using the boolean operation on a solid, you used the Groove function which rotates the negative. Perfect. It also appears you shi...

Re: multiple boolean ops of same body
Hello, that looks like the work for an array to handle. You can either use the Draft workbench or the Lattice2 workbench. Google these two workbenches regarding arrays. This should get you up and running. frcaduser That seems like a lot of work just to make a few copies of things so that they can b...

Re: multiple boolean ops of same body
Hi @Dougl, hello to the Community! As already mentioned by colleagues in previous interventions, the mold should be made in two main parts (die and punch), in particular the punch would be made in two further mobile parts moved, in the case of thermoplastic injection molding, by four inclined guide...

Re: multiple boolean ops of same body
I'm a bit confused about what you've done. I can see and recognize the Bool operation on PumpValve1 and PumpValve2 in MouldCaseTop but the Bool operation is empty in MouldCaseBot and I don't recognize the object types of PumpValve003 and PumpValve004.

Re: multiple boolean ops of same body
domad I looked at what you did and if I see it correctly, you did not use Body and Body001 in making the cavities in the mould halves but instead, you copied the pumpValve sketch into each mould half, did a revolve and then mirrored that part and did a "MultiTransform" to create the cavit...

Re: multiple boolean ops of same body
Thanks for the reply frcaduser and if this were something for a production env I would put more effort into efficiency but it's really just for 3 of the box-store garden sprayers I have and the pump valves will be made from silicone adhesive just squeezed into the mould and then clamped. I will add ...

multiple boolean ops of same body
I've search and tried a bunch of things like Links, Part Binder and Sub Part Binder but either I'm doing them wrong or I'm doing it wrong. I have a small rubber valve I'd like to make from silicone and need 2 of them so I'm making a 3D printable 2 part mould. Everything is parametric. I've designed ...

Re: Spaceball buttons customization
Hi, is there any news about this issue? I'm now using FreeCAD 0.20, and I still did not manage to get the shift, control, alt, and escape button to work as intended. Have you also tried updating your spacenavd? I see development as late as just 2 months ago so maybe there's been updates. https://gi...

is this a Path Helix WB task
I'm wanting to show that LinuxCNC can do multi-axis complex shapes like a spiral table leg and while looking for CAM found FreeCAD Path workbench might be able to generate the toolpaths. This is a double bonus since I've also recently switched from Fusion360 to FreeCAD after AutoDesk jumped the shar...

Re: Assistance Please - CAD for a 3D Block??
fillets in the tree lower than where you change or delete are almost guaranteed to fail since deleting above will delete or rename the geometry the fillet was attached to. so to use the delete method you have to remove the fillets (or chamfers) before anything above them in the tree. changes above ...
