frame of Richtext annotation not exported tom SVG

When you create a RichText Annotation and set to display a frame, the frame does not appear in the SVG export. In the PDF export is appears correctly. Can anyone confirm this too? OS: Windows 10 (10.0) Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.19.23126 (Git) Build type: Release...

Yes, this seems to do it nicely. It's units schema number 6, probably added just for this case.
But what about larger parts where you have e.g. a 2 m long piece and on it a feature with just 4 mm?

Re: unit mismatch error for dimensions

I had a look and my proposal won't work that simple. There is already a preferences option to show the units. So we must change this option to be toggleable. If on, the values are kept as they are and the unit is displayed, if off (default) the the unit is omitted and the values are recalculated to ...

Maybe you have to additionally include

Code: Select all

#include <numeric>
I tried and included it too but this leads to the same error.

Try adding

Code: Select all

#include <limits>
and tell me if it's working.
No success. I get the same error as before

If you create a sub-link (Std_LinkMakeRelative) instead of a 'normal' link (Std_LinkMake) the link will follow the 'final' global position. So what you want is already possible.

Re: Hole dialog discussion

Very good. I'll put it on my Todo list. I was too eager. I talked to one of our technicians and he convinced me that the hole dialog should not propose hole diameters for press fits and spring pins: Depending on the material the hole diameter needs to be adjusted. This applies for almost all cases....
