Re: low hanging fruit

Perhaps even a small online class could be possible. Great idea. I am still in "static friction" regarding the big picture of FreeCAD software architecture (hope this is the correct term). I once practised ANSI C on the lowest level. I do understand Python on the level of the books from Mark Lutz ....

Re: New macro, Vision1, check it out

Hi Chris, looks much better now on Windows 10. Still a little bit narrow. Size is perfect for me. Thanks. I am a little in a hurry. Just want to say that this is - for my use case - the most underrated FC-gadget ever. Seeing "inside" a model and modifying at once gets so fast without clicking your f...

Re: New macro, Vision1, check it out

Hi, is this macro obsolete / integrated somewhere (were I could not find it). Pretty helpful for my use case. On Win10 I get a little corrupted view with the version of post #1: ksnip_20201228-161243.png ______________________________ OS: Windows 10 (10.0) Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCA...

Re: Erfahrungsaustausch (virtuell)

GIF Scrubber for animated GIFs (pause etc.)

Just found this extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/gif-scrubber/gbdacbnhlfdlllckelpdkgeklfjfgcmp Tried it with Vivaldi and it runs like a charm. Some of the tutorials (e.g. for Assembly 3) are based on animated GIFs. Unfortunately those GIFs run faster than my brain ... Use this ad...

Re: [Bug ?]Draft Array works with Part container only if contained feature is visible

Thanks for this explanation. This is even stated in the wiki-pages (This tool can be used on any object that has a Part TopoShape ...). It is just that you really must have a deeper understanding of the FC internals to derive the consequences of that comment. But this is a more general issue. Good t...
