Re: Packaging solution: (ana)conda

There is still no response on your bug-fix for pyside. Would it be possible to add it as a patch to the conda-forge pyside feedstock?

Re: Making of Achsantriebswelle

Re: Packaging solution: (ana)conda

Replacing "%LIBRARY_PREFIX%" ^ with "%PREFIX%" ^ ? I have never looked at the occt osx builds. They are not building because of "maximum time limit". I think the conda-forge approach is not really suited for freecad. The packages we need are simple too big. So I will tr...

Re: Packaging solution: (ana)conda

I couldn't compile netgen without gui. That's the only reason I switched gui to ON. I haven't build netgen for a while. So maybe they have fixed this and now it's possible to build it without gui. If this is true, than it would be great if we could build a minimum version. I remember problems with t...

Re: surface flattening

Did you think about integrating your work with the parts done for topology optimization found here
I think this is another kind of problem. The surface flattening I use is mainly usable for flattening cloth-material.

Re: Fenics as Solver

simply exchanging the solver for 'the same problem definition' and double-check the results Ok, this is another use case. But I do not think our main goal is another solver for the same things we already can do with the FEM-WB. Fenics gives us the oppertunity to solve any pde, so we should take car...

Re: Fenics as Solver

If I understand this correctly, this adds the option to run everything outside of freecad. And there is the opportunity to run the simulation a second time with changed parameters but without recomputing the mesh. I didn't think about this yet, but this should be possible with my proposed work-flow....
