In any case it could integrated as presets for the helix tool, hole is, as the name implies, for making holes. If you're not 3d printing it's questionable how useful modelling a thread is though, and when 3d printing standard thread sizes might not be the best choice. Even with 3D printing i'm doub...

I was looking into the current solvers (mainly the two calculix and Elmer). The standard calculix is easy. If i open the solver i got a few settings where i choose the analysis i want to do. are they really? ... That's not where i responded on. Not sure if this alone would be enough. I'd rather see a voting system where indeed Users would indicate their wishes, but with an "advisory board" on top where ideally knowledgable devs would put these wishes in a broader context whet...

... I would rather have a voting system for all issues, just as something informative, no strings attached, this way we can have an idea of what are the most requested things. This gives you a top 10 out of the box if you want that, or maybe you can filter the issues on the modules you want to work...
