Sure. I see we have a document thumbnail icon but need higher resolutions to support current Macs. I have asked @yorik if he has one in his stash If we can come up with an appropriate icon, your request is easily done.

No, unfortunately I think that one was a quick hack... We need a proper SVG one now I guess

I don't know if has been changed since then. The linked post has the icon in svg format. But it was indeed a quick hack

@NormandC and @Japie - thanks! Would it be bad form to use a document icon that uses the old FreeCAD Icon? The new Icon looks like this:

But the document icon uses the now legacy Application icon. Also, instead of FSCtd, should we either say FreeCAD or leave it off?

Sweet!!! It is hard for me to tell, but did you use the standard font for the text - for example?

I have no clue what font type to use so I used something that looked like it and contained apple in the ttf name... (and maybe it is the same but I have no clue)

According to Apple's Developer site (for Yosemite) - last Human Interface Guidelines Update...

The system font is a specially optimized version of Helvetica Neue, which displays textual content with beauty, clarity, and sharpness.

Thanks for all your help! I just tested the changes locally and will prepare a pull request but wanted to share the intermediate results first - looks pretty good!
