First step is to compile PySide2 and copy the generated shiboken2 and PySide2 CMake config files to FreeCAD's cMake directory.triplus wrote:I'll probably compile this at the end of the week as i want to test something. Do i need to set some flags to get Qt 5 build? Or it does that automatically if Qt 5 is detected by cmake?
And then it is just simply:
Code: Select all
$ cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug -DFREECAD_USE_QT5=1 .. // this is for Qt5

This branch has been tested on Linux only. It does not compile on Windows. It needs some changes I have not commited yet.
UPDATE:
All external workbenches that have not been ported to PySide2 _must_ be moved out of the way. Not doing so will result in a crash.
