Untraslated strings for stable release 0.12

Since the time for the stable version 0.12 is coming, I've made a list of the strings which aren't yet translated in the whole freeCAD application, in order to highlight to you developers which must became translatable.

But before, some personal suggestion.

On crowdin pages why don't make active all the available languages? There are a lot more (94 at the moment).. The more languages the more people!!

IMO, the languages in the dropdown list in preferences should not be translated. Like this an user can select his mother tongue without know its translation in other languages.

If it is possible IMO the name of the object must be translated (e.g. Unnamed.Box.Face6 will be Senza_nome.prisma.faccia6 in italian)

To make easy to work with i18n, is it possible to define in Qt some standard strings like 'help' or 'close' (most related to the windows and panels buttons) so you don't have to think about them and to replicate them many times?

Even if the draft is fully translated in crowdin no one string is translated in the application.

Man, I hope it didn't take you too long to create this list, because I believe you've done this work for nothing. They're already aware that these strings need translation, Yorik says here he wants to export the whole thing to Crowdin for people to start translating.

It is, in French. Possibly, the Italian Crowdin translation needs to be ported back into the software sources. The last time it's been done was at least 6 months ago, and maybe the Italian translation was done after that.

One thing about the Crowdin process. There are actually French translations in the software that make no sense (in the Complete workbench, the "Drafting" menu was translated to "Rédaction", which is French for "writing"!). I suggested more appropriate translations, but until there's someone else who approves my translations on Crowdin, they won't replace the faulty ones!

I'm sorry you took time to do this carlo, I'm afraid most of this will be added automatically to crowdin (I did a new upload this afternoon)
So, guys, time to go translate! There might still be a couple of new strings before 0.12 release, but I think 99% is there already.

Normand, you are "leader" in the french translation group, so you can approve translations (which sets the translation that goes to FreeCAD). If you could have a look and correct/approve stuff there, would be of a great help... I try to do it too but I get a bit lost between french, dutch and portuguese, not too sure what I did where...

Even if you've seen me as a crazy and my (not too long) work with untraslated strings as useless, after translating the new files in crowdin, a lot of strings in my list aren't included in the automated process.

Must be difficult with 3 languages in your head! I only speak two and sometimes the first word that comes to my mind is in English instead of my native language!

As for the "Rédaction" thing, I guess you may just have approved an automatic translation that was proposed by the system. There are A LOT of text strings to go through!

Yes, no idea where that "Rédaction" came from... Seems indeed how google could translate "Draft" I probably approved without looking too well

Yorik, what do you think about?
The first is easy to activate and at no cost. The second requires to know how write languages but we can copy&paste from a wikipedia page..

I've found the answer by myself. Qt and now also crowdin recognize equal strings so there's no need to repeate the translation.

I tried that at first, but then the export freezes and we couldn't get the translations... The solution was to reduce the number of languages. But we could try again, maybe they fixed the problem...

A question about translations.

In the PartDesignGui, these strings are available for translation:

Those Task...Parameters thingies look like variable names, should they really be translatable? And what about the others?

Hey, I just stumbled upon it, and you didn't enter it, neither approve it. It was the only translation available at the time, so the system used it. I'm sure you'll be relieved to know this!

It's incredible how many strings there are to translate!!!
