Notes for Windows users

The 32-Bit installer (x86) supports the following versions of Windows: XP/Vista/7/8/10.
The 64-Bit installer (x64) supports the following versions of Windows: Vista/7/8/10.

We have everything nicely packaged for all platforms, many translations fully done, the doc in more or less decent state, very nice release notes, and an official announcement! I'd say this is a very good release! Congrats to everybody, awesome community work we did! It is thrilling to see websites picking it fast (I saw several already).

I also say thanks to the awesome programmers and all others that helped, and will continue to help getting FreeCAD better and better..

Neither on https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Download nor on https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/releases there is a release 0.17 for windows which works without installer. Is there some release like all the dev versions which runs without installer. Some people here at work do not have a administrator privileges on their computer.
