The color gradient is:
top #97C9CD Blue
middle #FFFFA6 yellow
bottom #7D8685 grey
Looks better then the default Catia like style
To match the material with the background simply add a bit of blue to the ambient color and a bit yellow to the specular, like the railmaterial, looks nice for a screenshot. There is also a bit of anti aliasing in some of the screenshots, its done by overriding settings in the graphics card settings.
