There really doesn't seem to be an appropriate sport for that. Can you maybe take a look and identify where it ought to go? Can add a section as well, if that seems best.

People will likely understand it best, if you put it under Assembly. If you would write something like App::Link section, good luck with that.

P.S. In addition (in 2019/2020) it's about time FreeCAD release notes do get an Assembly section. ;)

I'm thinking of adding a "Core" section to the release notes, as there's another feature add that appears to fit there. Unless this belongs somewhere specific?

EDIT: Modified the User Interface notes in the general section to handle it. It's a WIP, anyway.

Will do. I had thought of that, but then realized "Assembly" is still outsourced to external workbenches, so it made me wonder where to put it.

Maybe you need a special feature, go into Macros_recipes and Code_snippets, Topological_data_scripting.
