Pocket path not following curve
Trying to create path for yin yang model but can't figure out wavy line down center:
It keeps turning it into a straight vertical cut where it just splits the piece into two halves

Re: Pocket path not following curve
It is known that Path does not always create proper paths for ellipses, and it is no surprise that B-splines don't work well. But that shouldn't be a problem, because all ying/yangs I have seen were made of two half circles.

Thanks for that info. Cad and cam are both new to me so still learning best way to go about things. I'll try again with half circles
Re: Pocket path not following curve
Good to know, but Ying and Yang are still made of one of the most basic and yet most perfect geometric objects: circles.

A very valid point. I over-complicated what should have been basic and ended up with a nintendo switch logo instead
Redid my model using circles instead and it worked like I expected it to the first time Re: Pocket path not following curve
Good to see you got it working.
