Here's the place for discussion related to CAM/CNC and the development of the Path module.

I dont have Path.Area installed. Could you generate a path for the inverted LOFT Object from the stock block below?

Thanks!
It seems every challenge reveals some bug at the moment. I simply tried with a mirror of the original shape, and it didn't work. The problem is caused by flipped orientation. Anyway, I fixed it, and insert some timing code.

On my Core i5 machine, 10 sections plus pocketing took only 1 second. Path generation time is neglectable.

Try Assembly3 (latest version 0.10.2) along with my custom build of FreeCAD at here.

Thanks reelthunder!

I think this might work!
Take Two for no three-dee! Finally stumbled across operation that can do so (Custom). Corners can actually be done by conventional End-Mill too.

Hi realthunder,

thanks a lot! That is exactly what I was looking for!
It took me some time to get the compilation running with Ubuntu 16.10 but now it works perfectly.
