CNC Path along a 3D curve

What about if I limit the shape with a cut with offset 3mm from the curve?

I get errors on loading:

probably due to missing workbenches. Can you please upload it as simple copy.

Hi Wilfried,
i can open bouth files and can create a 3D-Pocket without FC crashes, - buts the only thing...
FC dosn't create a path like you want to have it...

3D-Pocket's orientation is the buttom of the part and if the tool touches the ground on tools outside and dosn't remove the material in the corner like you want it.

Path from shape follows the corner very good, but accepts no ramp entry dressup.and dosn't compensate the tool diameter. Last point isn't e big problem, because prof. machinecontrolers can do that by itselv, - and that what you want to do is only possible on a profesional machine.

Path from shape shows a other strange behavior to:
If you select the lower edge (wich you want to "clean") the created path is only less a halv round. If you select the edge a little bit above, it creates the same short path at that level, but steps down then to the lower edge and follows it for a full round.

- Path Profile, Cut inside, process holes, use compensation

It's currently not working properly. The tool moves but takes no material off.

Hi Chris, hi Wilfried,

the path chris crated is not correct, change the color of the part an you will see, that the path runs imto the material.

The reason is, the selected face is not realy flat, differents are around 0,3mm and "Contour from face" seams not take attention about it

I see. The outside is higher, which means that it is impossible to mill it.

Not only the outside...(Wilfried said that at first post.) If you make a "path by shape" and take a look at the Z levels you will see it.
