Hi Efyx,
I think Path's a bit challenged on your model, and you may want to ask further on it. It looks like you mirrored it? For some reason, I can get PathPocket3D to work on the right side, but not the left.
PathSurface3D should work, but you need OCL installed, and experimental features enabled.
I didn't account for clamping or such, and I don't know your material, but I took your model:
*Rotated it onto the XY Plane
*created a Job
*set the Output file and extension
*Filled in Rapid feeds in the SetupSheet
*Deleted the default tool controller
*Added a 3D Pocket
*Added example of Surface3D too....
*Added a Contour cut.
Check out the Wiki--Chrisb has a nice simple walk thru there too ... https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Path_Wa ... _Impatient
Best Regards,
Josh

Re: help needed
The imported step file brings its own placement and the model is rotated -90 degrees around the X axis. Presumably you want to cut a profile of the shape so it needs to be lying flat on the XY plane.
I rotated the object 90 around X and then did a profile:

Re: help needed
No, but Path is still in process, and sometimes things don't work as easily as in others. Key things include getting good models to begin, and I think you''re OK there.
Also, sometimes with Pockets, things get weird about adding multiple faces . If, for example, your part was generated with no center line split it might be different.
Best,
Josh
Re: help needed
Thanks, for previous posts. It helped but didn't solved all my problems.
Could someone look onto new attached STEP file and figure out what can be wrong - why path doesn't generate?
FreeCAD version 13433 (Git)

Re: help needed
You should attach the FreeCAD file, not the Step.

Re: help needed
FreeCAD file attached.
Edit: Is it even possible to mill half cylinder (mill goes through on round surface)?

Re: help needed
I opened your file and it looks good: There is a path generated all around. I miss the mirror you are talking of
If you want to mill half cylinders you should model half cylinders.
