And again nothing special on my Ubuntu system. Both versions mentioned belowbehave the same: Load the first file you uploaded, mark for recompute, recompute and there you are:

There is a very faint chance that it's the occ version, but I really don't think so, because it is nothing special what you do. Have you tried the Appimage?

That's great, only it doesn't work that way on my system. Recompute, and I get to exactly what I posted.

I prefer to use the github images.

It's a bit of a problem, though, OCC7.2.0 requires tcl8.6.3 or better, and Debian is stuck on 8.6.0-2

I'll work something out.

Are you using style-sheets?

Beware there is some type of situation/state/bug (config file CRUD) that was CRIPPLING my 17-522 installation on ubuntu.
May be a style-sheet problem!

It was impacting the opening and manipulation of files I presume.

Sketches and Pads would never appear in the tree. Same file opened in 18 worked fine.

The only constant was a malformed UI; for instance:
OddInterface.png
OddInterface.png (9.18 KiB) Viewed 623 times
Note the deformed separators as blobs instead of dots and lack of down arrow in the workbench selection tool.

When I looked at my preferences style-sheet, my installation said NO STYLE SHEET.
Only problem is that there was one being displayed.

When I set the style sheet to the one displayed, it accepted and all file information is visible and accessible.

Problem vanished into thin air now that I am bald!

OHHH, for my case, it's the style sheet problem! Thank you so much! You saved the day.

Where is the information about the used style sheet stored? It is not in the config files, deleting them had no effect.

It seems that I was wrong. I tried again and deleted my config file which reset my settings including the style sheet.

Thanks bill.

Ok, I loaded a new computer with a fresh install of Debian Stretch, and built a fresh copy of OCC7.2, and FreeCad from Git. And the problem is resolved by recalculation, as you all have stated.

However, that doesn't explain what caused the problem in the first place.

But, darn the ecology, full steam ahead, running two server class machines in my office, instead of one, must be better?

Hi, I'm also experiencing this on FC daily and 0.17 (see screenshots). If I check "use outline", the pocket goes to the desired depth. If I uncheck it, it stops before reaching the desired depth (but it cuts trough raised features, so it does not solve the problem here). Was a bug report filed, or should I file one?
