Hi all, I have question if it is possible to save path - gcode program made by FreeCAD in .nc file extension that is needed for NC Studio from Weihong. I have NK260 controller, and would like to do some 3D drawings for gcode programs for my machine to read proper.
Is it possible to store .nc files in FreeCAD?

Hi woodencat, welcome to the forum.
this is a question concerning the Path workbench, I will move it there.
There are already several postprocessors the most popular being probably linux_cnc. If your machine can understand one of those dialects you can use it directly; if not you may have a look at the specifications and see if your controller behaves similar to one of the existing. Then you can adapt it with some basic programming knowledge.

Re: NC STUDIO .nc
#1 , sure you can select which extension you want.
#2 , You need to check, if one of the PP´s creates what your Machine understands.
I had a brief look and assume it could work with ISO Standard . Otherwise, as chrisb already wrote...you can adjust the Postprocessor.
