Path WB only sees part of object
I tried several times to mill the contour faces, edges, etc. Only plots the center portion????
Never had this issue with V0.17
Thanks for any help.

Re: Path WB only sees part of object
I switched to "Chrome".
I'll try it again.

Re: Path WB only sees part of object
Anything I can do to correct it?
What is OP and DD?
What is OP and DD?
Re: Path WB only sees part of object
OP is you. (Original Poster)
DD is DrawingDimensioning WB. Since it was mentioned on the same line as "DD" it was likely assumed that the abbreviation would be clear.

Your guess is right, I will retry tonight with DD installed. Do you think that DrawingDimensioning can affect a body (and cause weird Path behaviour)?wandererfan wrote: ↑Thu Nov 01, 2018 12:29 pm "proxies_dd.py" is from the DrawingDimension WB. Cause might be that OP has DD installed and you don't??

I wouldn't think so - bodies didn't exist when DD was written, did they?
On the other hand, stranger things have happened.

Re: Path WB only sees part of object
I had DD in my older Version 0.17 and it worked fine. I opened this file in the old version and it wouldn't work there either.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Path WB only sees part of object
I have rebuilt the model from scratch to assure there is no interference with Drawing Dimensioning.
I can reproduce the behaviour.
As a contour I get this: Selecting the inner edge and create "Profile from edges" yields the same pattern just smaller: Selecting the inner edge and create "Profile from edges" raises an error (which I understand) and starts the transform tool (which I don't).
Using "Profile from faces" creates the inner and outer pattern as a combination of the previous patterns. Combination is expected, pattern not. Pocketing the inner slot works as it should.
