That's too bad. There's a potentially useful feature here:
I wanted to cut that mounting plate but I the part wouldn't fit on the stock without rotating the part. I did the rotation with the job setup (which worked beautifully, BTW
). But it occured to me that if I had a piece of stock left over from a previous job and wanted to position a new part in the leftover bit, I could:
1) Load the old job
2) run the simulator
3) Keep the CutMaterial mesh
4) Convert the mesh to a solid, export it, an import it to use as the stock object of a new job.
5) I could then position the job to use whatever areas would fit the path.
It would be even nicer if the simulator used an existing solid and also generated the CutMaterial as a solid rather than a mesh.
