Path pocket spiral not like I expected

I changed to offset and it now does what I want.
A big thanks to all.

Now more learning

Is it worth a ticket anyway? I think I have drilled it down as far as I can (see https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 48#p329750).
