Hi Jmr,

I'm sorry you're running into issues and understand it is highly frustrating. You might be best posting questions like this in the compile sub forum where there are lots of people that deal with this type of issue regularly.

For information, Debian based distributions are most popular and have regularly updated builds in repos.
