Please excuse what appears to be a lot of negativity in my post. I'm really just pointing out facts. I love freecad for designing my parts for 3d printing and am hoping to use it for CNC milling on a 3018 CNC PRO.
I'm using 0.18 and tried to create a countersink bit in the path workbench tools section but it won't save because either I'm not inputting the values correctly ( not a surprise given it's genuinely not documented) or because there's a bug in that tool in the version i'm using which may or may not be fixed in a later version.
Google and the forum search shows nothing.
Basically I'm trying to model this bit
and a countersink seems to me to match the shape the best (based on there being no visual reference for freecad tool types anywhere).
Regardless of whether the countersink bit works or not... how to I create a took in path workbench that matches that profile?
Thanks.
countersink tool... what version can they be created and used in?

that's an engraving bit, so I guess engraver is a better choice, and that one has the helpful image explaining dimensions

Please note:
- The shape of the tools is not taken into account yet when creating paths
- 0.19 has received serious improvements for path.
