Creating Path Job Object (default values?)

Post by MRx »

Hi,

is there a way to set up some default values for the Path Job Object?

Output Tab:
- Processor should be set to linuxcnc by default in my case
- The output file should be in a custom directory, and the default name should be the projectname.nc

Tools:
- is there a way to load a default table, and not having to redefine it everytime?

Aside of that is there any reason why the delete button is not available when doubleclicking "Operations" for removing some operations?
I saw that this button is in the Path Job Object.

by the way operations can be enabled and disabled, it would be nice to see which ones are disabled in the workplan.

Best way to use predefined sets is to use Job templates, where you save all the tools and selected post processor. You can specify in the preferences to use a certain template on job creation.

Thanks!
That's the first time I hear about that ... I just exported the current template. I'll see how it works out next time.

Did you try to take default/template values? It doesn't seem to pick them up here.
