Good evening evrybody,
I bought a crappy TiAlN "Deburrer / chamfer cutter" on Ebay ( ) to deburr the edges of my alu-shape. The tool has a diameter of 4 mm and an angle of 90° - see the attached images.
Now I would add the tool at tool table, but I don't understand what values I should enter to describe the geometry of the tip:
I tried to use my imagination with poor result: the path seems always quite far away from the edges of the object. I would like to obtain a modest chamfering of around 0,5 mm along the edges.
Any Idea of what values should I enter?
P.S.
Yes, I know, TiAlN is not a wise choice on alu.
P.P.S.
I read the official docs but I got no clues.
What values for a chamfer tool in the tool table?
