Path Workbench: Engrave imported DXF

Post by HWe »

Hi all,
I am trying to create G-code for an imported DXF of a angel-drawing for engraving or pocket milling.
I managed to import the DXF into draft-workbench, create a compound, scale it and convert it into a sketch.
I used the sketch validation tool to connect points, etc.

When I try to either generate a path to engrave the 2D-sketch, or try to generate a pocket into a solid, the path-job does not create any proper pathes. I can create proper pathes to engrave or pocket-out text with the draft shape-strings.

What am I doing wrong - is the sketch not properly set-up ?
Any help is appreciated.
