Dynapath Delta_4060 Post Processor discussion

Post by luvtofish »

I have a mostly complete (for now) post processor for the Dynapath Delta 40 through 60 CNC control. Currently there is an older Dynapath PP that was developed for the Delta 10 and 20 controls. This PP is not meant to replace that but rather accommodate newer Dynapath control models that added new functionality including both conversational and G&M code programming. I've extensively tested the PP on my Tree Journeyman 250 3 axis CNC Mill. This PP is loosely based on the linuxcnc_post developed by sliptonic.

I will be submitting a PR to include it in the next FreeCAD release. I'll update this post with further details once the PR is submitted.

Thank you
Dan

That post processor has not yet been fully accepted and merged into FreeCAD. For full details, and possibly a download, see the link to issue #7962 above.

Any use at this time would be entirely at your risk!
