Activating existing Mechanical Analysis

I had to use the Force (read the source, Luke) just to find out that activating existing mechanical analysis requires ... double click! Is there a good reason for that? I think the menu buttons for editing material/starting calculation should be activated the same way "Create FEM Mesh" button currently works. It is activated when an object that can be converted is selected.
