Nop; but will try to prepare some example. Am I right that the material editor in 0.18 is not ready jet for daily use? I could use it to include "RelativePermittivity" as it is needed for electrostatics.

Be careful when you use the material editor, he has no unit check like we have in FEM material task panel. As soon as the material editor has unit check I would deactivate the FEM own material task panel editing. For sure you could use the material editor to introduce new material properties. But how to use the new property in FEM is another question ...

Is it possible to include it into master? I do not have set up a proper compilation environment on my current ubuntu 18.04  and it therefore would save me hours (maybe even days of playing around).

I just love it :!: :D
Do you think it is possible to store such section-views as element in the object tree?
Finally, to save some clicks it would help if you would incorporate this as tick-box into the selection dialogue for solids.

Thank you so much,
HoWil

yes it is possible, but needs somw more development, and may be some thicking what is the best way to implement. Furthermore it is not relly an FEM object.

BTW: have you realised you can add more than one cuts and if you select a face its normal is used for the cut.
