Flowsimulation in a tube

Hallo sirpete83 and HoWill,

I have an identical case for my Master Thesis and I am stuck since days, so I am asking you for help. I need to simulate a waterflow through a box filled with stones and see, how the pressure changes before and after. The Problem is that I am not even capable of generating a simple flow. I tried understanding this case "Flowsimulation in a tube", but I am not able to transfer the steps into my work.

I could not tell you how much it would mean to me, if you would help me out!

Is it possible for you to post your file?

CFD-Wb (opensim) tutorials are maybe the right place to start if you just whant to simulate waterflow. Elmer makes more sense if you whant to build multi-physics models. Please make also sure that you do not mix elements from Elmer and CFD-Wb.
