The problem we gone face is much simpler. See bug report my link in the post before.

Yes, sorry, I spoke too soon. It’s about making sure all elements associated with a face have the same normal.

That should not be too difficult if the mesh has been generated from a FC part (easy to check and align all element on a face), but impossible if a mesh gets imported ?!
